Seoul has been mired in rain from the moment I opened my eyes until this very moment, as I finally made my way home after dinner and a few rounds of soju with colleagues. Through the window, raindrops are descending from the darkened sky, dampening the should-be-buoyant Friday spirit.
Exactly one week has passed since I launched this website. Despite its crash on the very first day, everything has flowed smoothly ever since. Because of my school commitments, I’ve yet to fully populate each category with content. Once summer break arrives, I plan to delve deeply into Korean society, exploring topics such as the rising misogyny among young Korean men, the incoming president of Korea (with the election scheduled for June 3rd), and more. Until then, I’ll continue to share my translations of BTS songs every weekday.
